Jarryd Hayne facts for you


This 25 year old sensation Jarryd Hayne is known by many names but we like to call him the Hayne train. The all time favourite was born on 15 february 1988 in Sydney. Jarryd Hayne is son of Jodie Hayne and former South Sydney,Western suburbs and Auckland Warriors center Manoa Thompson.

Hayne has made his mark in the NRL with the Eels on the 19th of May 2006 against the Penrith panthers at CUA stadium. The Hayne train has ranked a whopping 339 points in his career. He  quickly making an impression scoring 17 tries within 16 games “wow isn't that amazing.” I will also include one of best games against Newcastle Knights they won 46-12.


2007 representative grade  debut:
 Making another impression in his second season with his talent, in which he secured representative berths City vs Country Origin, and State of origin NSW vs QLD and played a test match for Australia. Starting his season he slowly improved and became fullback and to this day “he still is” due to the injury to Luke Burt “and scored 12 tries! including the winning try against the New Zealand Warriors of the qualifying finals in the NRL in 2007 finals series.


In the 2007 Grand final Jarryd Hayne was accused of  winking after an accident Clint Newton says,”To lay down and do what he done and then get up and and wink is inappropriate I just don't think thats the spirit of the game” Hayne denied the accusations and said “I don't engage in that kind of thing,and he did not actually say that I can't say his exact words.”  


2008:
In August 2008 Hayne was named preliminary 46-man Kangaroos squad for the 2008 Rugby  League World cup, Hayne was also named in the prime ministers XIII, scoring tries against Papua  New Guinea.
